Reading progress update: I've read 75%.
I'm discovering how weird it is to read related series out of order. Parasol Protectorate came first, but the Finishing School series is chronologically earlier. This is problematic when characters recur and are not 100% consistent. Shouldn't characters who met as children know each other, even just vaguely, as adults?
