It's a Hardback Life

I understand that, for the sake of clarity and organization, some authors would find it necessary to break "fans" into further categories based on activity. I'm not fond of the word "cult" being applied, however, especially as some sort of technical term. It jars me every time I see it.

I also find some of these passages hilarious- there are some very, very culturally out-of-touch people involved in these studies.
